AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. DISCUSSIONS NEXT WEEK. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 11 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 5. Concerted action to meet the competition of subsidised foreign shipping in the Pacific will be discussed next week by representatives of the New Zealand and Australian Governments, according to the Sun. Other important matters to be discussed are a joint export policy, as far as the common interest will permit with a view to resisting the restriction plan threatened by Great Britain, the embargoes on Australian citrus fruits by New Zealand and potatoes from the Dominion.
