ADVERTISING TIMARU
EXPENSIVE PLAN DECIDED ON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. A meeting of citizens to-night at which an address was given by Mr. G. Stewart, publicity manager of New Zealand Railways, decided to undertake an extensive advertising scheme for Timaru at the cost of £350. Speakers stressed the advantages of the town from a holiday and industrial point of view and Mr. Stewart gave it as his opinion that the town possessed advantages not evident at other watering places in the Dominion.
