DEATH FROM STAB

MONTREAL BUSINESS MAN. SPANISH DANCER SOUGHT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. Oct. 6. William Owen, former secretary to Mr. David Lloyd peorge and an employee of a Montreal Stock Exchange firm, died early to-day from a deep knife wound in the right shoulder. The police are looking for a young Spanish night-club dancer, Miss Dolores Morel, who occupied the apartment in which Owen was found. The girl drove off in Owen’s car after summoning Dr. J. Hamelin to aid the dying man. The car was found abandoned several miles away. A later message says it is denied that William Owens was a former secretary of Mr. Lloyd George. It was reported that he might have been attached to the secretariat in some capacity. Dolores Morel told the police that Owens was wounded by a knife while she was struggling with him after he had struck her.
