MEN’S AND WOMEN’S PLAY.

In the third round of the Patea women’s junior championship Mrs. Roberts defeated Miss O’Sullivan and Mrs. Harris; defeated Mrs. Wither. Miss Harris beat Miss N. Huxley in the semifinal of the senior championship, Miss Harris playing the first nine holes in 38 and Miss Hurlrey in 41. Miss Tomkins beat Miss Sheild in the semi-final of the C grade championship. Miss Glenny beat Miss Petersen in the final section of the Yankee tournament. B. Sheild beat A. B. Currie in the final of the Remuera Cup, the score being 3—2. Currie beat Sheild and Hughes beat Haddow in the semi-finals of the senior championship. K. Honeyfield beat Gerrahy, Kehely beat I. Honeyfield. Roots beat W. Honeyfield and Adams beat Wither in the third round of the junior championship. Glenny beat Burgess and N. Taylor beat Aagaard in the semi-finals of the C grade championship.
