TREASURY RETURNS IN BRITAIN. EXPENDITURE ALSO GREATER. British Wireless. Rugby, Sept. 11. A Treasury return shows that the total ordinary revenue for the current financial year to September 8 and excluding self-balancing items amounted to £246,358,069. ’ Both in regard to inland revenue and Customs excise the receipts for the current year exceed the figures of the corresponding date of 1933. Ordinary revenue collected last week was £9,352,791 and expenditure incurred £10,520,823. The total ordinary expenditure to date is £297,745,041. Last year at the corresponding date it was £293,244,790.
