MATCH AGAINST WANGANUI.
ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED.
At a special meeting of the Taranaki Football Association arrangements were completed for the representative fixture between Wanganui and Taranaki at Western Park on Saturday. Mr. G. E. •Roper presided. Others present were Messrs W. Johnson, R. Rea, T. Lawrence, N. Bremner and J. W. Chapman (secretsry)* The committee set up reported that suitable arrangements were made to hold the match at Western Park in conjunction with the Taranaki Rugby League. It was decided to entertain the visitors at lunch, dinner and a dance in the evening. Dr. E. A. Walker is to be asked to preside at the dinner and present the cups won during the season. A women’s committee consisting of Mesdames G. E. Roper, R. Rea, E. Jury, V. Upshall, N. Bremner, Quinlan and J. W. Chapman was set up to make arrangements for the dances. Messrs. W. Johnson, G. Randall and V. Upshall were elected masters of ceremonies for the evening. The Wanganui Football Association confirmed previous arrangements and advised that its team would be: Walker, Crumbly, Duke, Kidd, Wilson, Robinson, Killeen, Dashfield, Heath, Meikle, Quinn, reserves, Jones and. Upton.

Scottish Soccer results are:—Celtic 4 v. Hibernian 0; Queen’s Park Rangers 0 v. Clyde 1; St. Mirren 2 v. Falkirk 1; Stenhousemuir 2 v. Cowdenbeath 3. At Northern Union Keighley 2 lost to Liverpool Stanley 8.
