MOSLEM “JACK THE RIPPER” CRIME LIFE IMPRISONMENT ORDERED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright, Calcutta, Sept. 7. Ghulam Hussian, a middle-aged Moslem described as “Jack the Ripper,” was sentenced to life imprisonment on a charge of murdering 12 women. The crimes were committed over a period of seven years. The first victim was a girl aged 12 and the last a woman aged 60. He cleverly eluded the whole Hyderabad State police. He generally attacked his victims at dusk in lonely places.
