LAST WAREA EUCHRE PARTY

MEETING OF SCHOOL COMMITTEE. The final euchre party at Warea for the season was held in the hall last Saturday, eight tables being engaged. Winners were, Mrs. E. W. Corbett and Mr. H. Wells. Points prizes were won by Mrs. C. W. Corbett and Mr. N. Davis. Messrs. D. Longley and B. Gold were in charge of euchre and Mrs. C. Corbett and Misses I. and J. Corbett supervised supper. The monthly meeting of the school committee was held on Monday. The report showed the roll number to be 65 at the end of the month, with an average attendance of 81 per cent., the lowest for some time wing to measles being prevalent in the district. The secretary reported having interviewed the secretary of the coastal dental clinic committee, but that nothing had been done toward pressing for the establishment o£ a coastal clinic.
