SILENCE ZONE EXTENDED

The ban on the night use of motor horns, which was introduced in London, is being extended to all towns in Britain on September 16. Many cities and towns are objecting to Major L. Hore-Belisha’s extension of thesilence zone, says the Daily Mail. Aiderman Atkey (Nottingham) says that the Transport Minister is usurping the functions of local authorities, who are the best judges of the situation.
