GENEROUS BEQUEST AT DUNEDIN.

CONTINGENT ON LIFE INTERESTS.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Under the will of Mrs. Caroline Rankin Wilson, daughter of the late Captain Sundstrum, the Church of Christ, Dunedin, will, at the termination of certain life interests, receive the larger share of an estate swcfai for probate purposes at £20,000. It is estimated that after the payment of several private bequests the residue will be approximately £12,000. Religious purposes are set out in the will. Private bequests concern people of New- Zealand, Great Britain and the United States. Specific directions for the distribution of residue after the expiry of the life interests are made as follows:—£100, Church of Christ, Dunedin, social service work; £lOOO, Church of Christ, Dunedin, purchase of a pipe organ or towards the reduction of the debt thereon or the maintenance or salary of the organist; £lOO, Council of the Associated Churches of Christ, New Zealand, aged preachers’ provident fund; £lOO, trustees of the Church of Christ Bible College, Glenleith Woodhaugh, Dunedin; residue, Church of Christ, Dunedin, to be applied in the terms and directions already stated in respect ,to the purchase or maintenance of a pipe organ.
