Winifred Louise, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Clegg, Arawhata Road, Oaonui, to Herbert, second son of Mr and the late Mrs. E. Moore, Mahoenui. VICTORIA LEAGUE. Members of the West End Croquet Club were hostesses at the floral tea at the Victoria League yesterday. The programme was given by Mesdames Hams and Fussell, songs; Misses Wright and McCarty, recitations, an instrumental trio, Misses Royce (2) and Grice; Miss Grice, piano solo. Miss Grice was accompaniste. The play-reading circle will give an “open” evening on August 23.
