Won by four lengths, a neck between second and third. Time, 3m. 545., a course record. Mirror fell. GODFREY' WATSON STEEPLES. DRAKE, 9.13 (Dynon) 1 WHURLIC, 10.13 (Mcßae) 2 KING OF ARMS, 9.5 (Winks) 3 Also Started: Prince Flaviol, Copperfield, Ground Swell, Daily Mail. Won by a neck, two lengths between second and third. Time, 4m, 3515, Prince Flaviol fell and was killed. Bay Chief was unplaced in the Lillimur Two-year-old Handicap. Movie Star was fourth in the Murrumbeena Handicap. Cape Fair was unplaced in the second division of the Kambrcok Trial.
MOOREFIELD PARK RACES. NEW ZEALAND RIDER SUSPENDED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.— Copyright. Rec. 6.30 p.m. . Sydney, July 22. At the Moorefield Park races Golden Gate was third in the first division of the Flying Handicap, in which Antique was unplaced. Persian was fourth in the Carlton Mile. The former New Zealand jockey, A. Murray, was suspended for two months for careless riding in the Carlton Mile. The stewards held him responsible for interference by his mount Curtius with Persian and Moallin.
