FLAG FIVE HUNDRED AND DANCING

On Wednesday the Waikaka Tennis Club held a successful evening in the Otangiwai hall. Flag five hundred, dancing and games were enjoyed. At flag five hundred, three tables tied for the first prize—Mr. and Mrs. Crozier and Mr. and Mrs. W. de Malmanche, Mr. and Mrs. F. Sowry and Mr. and Mrs. E. Blackwell, and Messrs. E. C. Thomas, L. Julian, H. Fauchelle and E. Fauchelle. In the play-off Mr. and Mrs. Crozier and Mr. and Mrs. W. de Malmanche won. After supper, dancing was held, Mrs. E. C. Thomas, Miss N. Higgie and Messrs. W. Rumsby and H. Raitt supplying the music, while Messrs. A. Beaton and A. Raitt were masters of ceremonies. Messrs. G. Rhynd and E. Blackwell organised the evening.
