BOOTS TARIFF REDUCTION
WORKERS APPROACH MINISTER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, July 18. A deputation to Mr. J. G. Coates, Minister of Customs, from the Federated Boot Trades Industrial Association of Workers, requested that the 5 per cent, reduction in the tariff on boots and shoes should be restored. The Minister promised to give consideration to the representations made.
