UNEMPLOYMENT REDUCED
POSITION (IN UNITED STATES. MANY MORE FINDING WORK. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. New York, June 26. The National Industrial Conference Board announced to-day that the estimated total number of unemployed workers in the United States in May, 1934, was 7,899,000, representing a decline of 50,000 from the previous month and a decline of 5,304,000 from the total in March, 1933, when unemployment reached its peak.
