RADIO PERFECTION

LACY BROS.’ EXHIBIT Over a period of many years’ trading Messrs. Lacy Bros., of Stratford, have built up an enviable reputation for the high standard of their radio agencies and for their unexcelled service. Again this year this reputation is well maintained with an exceptionally fine display of radio at the winter show, embracing the latest models in Majestic, Ultimate® and Courier radios. With so fine a selection the problem of the prospective purchaser is decisively solved for these models suit all purchasers besides satisfying the most fastidious as regards performance and appearance. America’s leading radio, the Majestic —mighty monarch of the air—is represented by several handsome models, the very latest and finest products of this mighty radio organisation. The new receiver is so completely new as to be almost revolutionary in set design. Basically it is the famous superhetrodyne circuit—but sc improved, modernised and refined as to be hardly recognisable. New tubes, new features, are used that were heretofore unknown, adding tremendously to the ease of operation, overall performance and enjoyment of ownership. Supreme achievement in New Zealand radio construction is reached with the new Ultimate and Courier mrfdels which compare more than favourably with any other set on the market to-day. These new models are the most comprehensive musical instruments yet offered, whether they are the compact mantel models or the handsome consoles. These models use the latest valves and operate full automatic volume control. They are specially constructed so that, while immensely powerful, they do not amplify background noises. On short wave they are the finest receivers produced anywhere, irrespective of price. They will bring in all the world’s recognised short-wave stations. Merely a turn of the switch operates either broadcast or short-wave.

Messrs. Lacy Bros.’ display is completed by a two-cow “Standard” milking plant which combines simplicity, sanitary construction and efficiency. It is truly known as the economy, milker and has proved highly successful on hundreds of farms, including the demonstration farm at Stratford.
