BOOKMAKERS CONVICTED

FINES IN WELLINGTON COURT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, June 8. Joseph Cohen, aged 48, William Woolgar, aged 40, Cecil Eugene Conway, aged 34, Stanley William Findlay, aged 35, and Leonard Avery, aged 30, were convicted to-day of carrying on the business of bookmakers. Cohen, Woolgar and Conway were each fined £25 and the other two -were remanded.
