Trade between Australia and New Zealand in fruit and vegetables was referred to this morning by Mr. Harvey Turner, managing director of Turners and Growers, Ltd., who returned to Auckland by the Niagara after a short business visit to Australia. “There does not appear to be much of a market for New Zealand potatoes in the Commonwealth at present,” he said, “and the obscure and uncertain position now prevailing is hampering any possible revival in the exportation of this particular commodity.”
