The new Fascist Government which has seized power in Bulgaria is forcing economies in every direction, even reducing Ministerial salaries from £l2OO to £430. Members of Cabinet are dispensing with private railway carriages and their staff and motor-cars. Except in Macedonia, where martial law is maintained, all the precautions have been relaxed. The Government is evidently not fearing a reaction. » DISORDER AMONG STUDENTS. BARRICADE AGAINST POLICE. Rec. 10 pun. London, May 22. Serious student disorders occurred at Belgrade University as a protest against ,the new decree prohibiting students* political organisations, says the correspondent of the Manchester Guardian. Three hundred students, mostly Communists, barricaded themselves in a building after smashing the furniture and windows and burning books. Police were called in and were forced to retreat under a shower of tables, chairs and inkpots. \ The students declare they can hold out for three days because they have sufficient food. .. >
