OFFICERS OF BIBLE CLASS
UPPER MANGOREI GENERAL NEWS. The Upper Mangorei Bible Class met on Tuesday night, when in spite of rough weather there was a good attendance. Rev. J. D. Grocott presided. The secretary’s report spoke highly of the year’s work, all meetings being very well attended. The Rev. J. D. Grocott, Mrs. Knauf and Miss G. Pearce were re-elected president, vice-president and secretary respectively. New officers were Miss W. Jackson (treasurer), Miss D. Pearce (pianist), and Miss P. Wells (flower steward). At the conclusion of the business a short discussion was held on “The Travels of Christ.” Games and supper concluded the meeting. Mrs. Knauf has returned from a holiday at Stratford. Miss I. McAsey is the guest of Mrs. R. H. Balsom. Mr. and Mrs. C. Balsom motored to Hamilton and Rotorua for the holidays. Miss Papps is spending a holiday at her home at Moturoa. Miss J. Balsom is the guest of Mrs. J. Purdie, Waitara. Miss D. Kelson is staying with her aunt, Mrs. A. Busing. ' Mrs. S. Radford is spending a holiday at Opunake. Miss H. Jury has been staying with her aunt, Mrs. H. West.
