FATAL AUCKLAND ACCIDENT

MAORI STRUCK BY A MOTOR-CAR. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A fatal accident occurred on the Great South Road when a Maori named Leo Graham, aged 25, was knocked down by a motor-car and killed instantly. Graham, who was employed by a Chinese market gardener, was evidently walking from his place of employment toward Otahuhu when he was struck by a car driven by Mr. A. Rowe, Remuera. The car stopped immediately and the occupants summoned an ambulance. The body of the young man, who had received head injuries, was taken to Otahuhu.
