TUG-OF-WAR AT RAHOTU
CROWDED HALL SEES EVENTS. In a crowded hall the tug-of-war contest under the auspices of the Rahotu Bowling Club was begun last night and proceeded with enthusiasm. Results of the earlier contests are:— First Round. Schnapper beat Ranana. Haupoto beat Relief. Kahui Road beat Waiokura. Rahotu beat Fertiliser. Waiteika Road beat Arawha'.a. Pungarehu beat Tipperarj. Turangi beat Seaweed. Te Kiri beat Oakura B after dead-heat-ing. Capa Egmont beat Oakura A, All Seniors a bye. Second Round. (Two-life). Schnapper beat All Seniors. Kahui Road beat Haupoto. (One-life). Ranana beat Relief. Waiokura beat Fertiliser.
