£4,800,000 BRAKE CONTRACT

BRITISH SUPPLIES FOR POLAND. British Official Wireless. . Rec. 5,25 p.m. Rugby, April 25. A contract valued at approximately £4,800,000 has been signed in London for fitting continuous air brakes to the freight waggons of the Polish State Railways. The contracting parties were the ' Polish State Railways and the Westinghouse Brake and Saxby Signal Company Ltd., London. The work covered by the contract includes the supply of brake equipment for 39,200 waggons and' pipe' equipment ■ for’ 73,000 waggons.
