EXPLOSION OF BENZINE IRON.

By Telegraph—Press Association. 'Napier, April 18. A verdict that Delia Lavina Calder died as the result of syncope due to shock was returned by the coroner at the inquest regarding an unusual fatahty which occurred at Bayview on Monday afternoon. , The evidence showed that a loud report, which was later found to have been caused by a benzine iron exploding, was heard by a neighbour, who took no notice at 'the time. Later a small child was heard crying, and the father, David Calder, found ins wife lying dead on the floor of the house.
