REDS THREATEN NEW PARTY. FIGHT AGAINST CAPITALISM. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10 p.m. Dublin, April 12. The Irish Republican Army differences revealed in the statement published yesterday arose at a convention at which extremists proposed the organisation should openly adopt a Communist programme. The Reds were defeated, walked out and issued a manifesto announcing their intention of forming a new republican body to fight capitalism and make the issue of a workers’ and peasants’ republic predominant in Irish politics.
