It is ascertained that there was no loss of life in the cyclone, which swept Onslow, a small town on the north-west eoast, but a concrete jetty for shipping, costing £120,000, was completely swept away. The town itself was almost demolished, homes and business premises being destroyed by the cyclone, but the Government buildings were undamaged. The Government is forwarding food supplies by sea from Roeburn. '
