FOUR-DAY BATTLE WITH GALE
JAPANESE STEAMER DAY LATE. SHIFTING OF THE CARGO FEARED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Brisbane, March 31. The Japanese steamer Tamon Maru arrived from Yokohama a day late owing to a four-day battle against a 60 mile-an-hour gale in the Coral Sea. It is believed that the cargo has shifted in No. 1 hold.
