MEETING OF MEMBERS OF CLUB. The annual meeting of the PurangiTarata Football Club was held at Pukeho on Tuesday, A remit from the Ratapiko club urging that no member from the Stratford county be allowed to play in Schneider Shield matches was received, but in the absence of several members, including the secretary (Mr. S. W. Hutchen) ,no decision was arrived at. The sending of a delegate to the Rugby union meeting had also to be held in, abeyance. Hawks Numerous. Hawks are very numerous in the locality and are killing pullets. No fewwr than four have been either killed outright or maimed so badly that they' have died.
