Bee. S.S p.m. Rugby, March 29. The Admiralty announces that RearAdmiral C. E. Kennedy-Purvis is to be assistant-chief of the naval staff in succession to Rear-Admiral Sidney R. Bailey to date from August 15. Rear-Admiral Bailey is to be rear-admiral commanding the battle-cruiser squadron in succession to Vice-Admiral William M. James from August 15.
