DAIRY INDUSTRY PICNIC

GATHERING AT EAST END BEACH. An innovation as far as North Taranaki is concerned, the first picnic of dairy factory directors, secretaries and managers, together with others interested in the conduct of the dairy industry, which is to be held at the East End reserve on Saturday, is creating keen interest and is sure to attract a representative attendance. A similar picnic held in South Taranaki recently proved so successful that it is certahi to be made an annual affair and so, too, it is expected the North Taranaki picnic will become. Arrangements are being made by the northern members of the Taranaki federation directorate to ensure that all have an enjoyable time, as was the case with the South Taranaki picnic arranged by the executive. A comprehensive programme of sports events has been arranged to cater for all. The picnic affords a splendid opportunity for all interested in the various phases of the industry to meet together on common ground.
