TELEVISED PROGRAMME
TALKING FILM DEMONSTRATION. PROBABILITIES OF THE FUTURE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright London, Feb. 8. The Institute of Electrical Engineers, in the presence of scientists and wireless experts, demonstrated a complete televised programme from a talkie film, says the Daily Express. It is believed that when the mass production stage has been reached the apparatus will be no dearer than a highclass gramophone, giving in people’s homes televised broadcasts of talkies, cricket, football, lawn tennis, racing and social events.
