COOKERY CORNER
GINGER BREAD. One cup brown sugar, 1 cup treacle, 1 cup milk, Jib. butter, 3 level cups flour, 2 teaspoons soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 teaspoons ginger. Put sugar, treacle, milk, butter in saucepan, then when nearly boiling put in flour, soda, cinnamon, ginger, and a few sultanas if liked. Bake for I of an hour.
