Barons of Beef.

One of the big West End clubs, which only recently decided to open its doors to lady visitors, is arranging a novel surprise for them at Christmas tune. During the week-end before Christmas all ladies dining at the club as guests of its members will be privileged to go down into the kitchens between the hours of 7.30 and 9.30 in order to see for themselves how a baron of beef is roasted for the table. The club is so big that it accounts for two barons of beef every Christmas, and it will be possible, therefore, to give the lady guests this novel experience on two separate nights.
