Te Kuiti, Nov. 30. Abraham and Williams,. Limited, report that at to-day’s stock sale, held at the Pio Pio saleyards large entries of sheep and cattle were offered to a good attendance of buyers. Prices were better than at previous sales. Values were: Fat ewes, 13s Id; two-tooth wethers, 15s 6d to 17s 2d; ewes with Southdown lambs, 14s Id, all counted; ewes with Romney lambs at foot, 245; fat cows, £2 12s; yearling Shorthorn steers, £1 10s; yearling Shorthorn heifers, £1 7s 6d. A line of yearling Hereford steers sold in conjunction with Dalgety and Company, Limited, realised £3 Is. Henry A. Lane and Co. Ltd., Hawera: New Zealand butter, finest 735, first 71s; unsettled market. New Zealand cheese, white 48s, coloured 465; market easier.
