Rec. 9.55 p.m. London, Nov. 17. The total Ellerman estate will exceed £40,000,000, according to the Daily Telegraph, necessitating the payment of over £20,000,000 to the State, of which probably about £15,000,000 will be received by the Chancellor before March. It is the equivalent of the amount required to reduce the income tax by three (pence in £1 if it could be devoted to that purpose. ’■
