£6,000,000 LOST IN FOUR MONTHS.

The National Association of Manufacturers announced to-day that 1630 strikes occurred in the United States in the first 10 months of this year, 588,000 workers being involved. There were 1100 strikes in the last four months. Wages lost amounted to nearly £5,000,000 and time lost to 7,000,000 working days, employers losing £1,300,000. The total loss in the four months approximated £6,000,000.
