WAITARA BOY SCOUTS

GOOD WORK FOR YEAR REPORTED. . The annual meeting of the Waitara Boy Scouts committee was held last week. Mr. L. N. Johnston presided. The Scoutmasters’ reports on the work for the past year showed that the movement at Waitara was progressing excellently. The boys were well behaved and were. doing well in learning the various branches of Scoutcraft. A satisfactory report regarding the, Cubs was made by their leader, Mr. P. Appleby. Mr. E. A. George was elected, chairman of committees in place of Mr. Johnston, who asked to be relieved of the position. Mrs. G. Chapman was re-elect-ed secretary.
