FORMER SOLICITOR GAOLED
FORGERY AND £2OOO NAPIER THEFT. IMPRISONMENT FOR FIVE YEARS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Aug. 17. Albert Lionel Bailey, aged 39, ‘formerly a solicitor at Napier, on five charges (one involving theft at £2lll Ils lid, three of forgery and one of making a false declaration), was sentenced by Mr. Justice Reed to-day to five years’ imprisonment for theft, the terms on the other charges being made concurrent.
