Mrs. C. Thompson, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Ramsfiottom, returned to Auckland on day.'Miss L. Minton has resigned her position as librarian at Patea in view of her approaching marriage. Mrs. F. Ramsbottom was hostess at a flag 500 and bridge evening this week in the Druids’ Hall. The proceeds will aid St. George’s Church. Mrs. F. Parsons, Whenukaura, was hostess at an afternoon at Whenuakura this week at which Mrs. Donald, who leaves for Omata shortly, was the guest of honour.
