MANAWATU BEATEN AT RUGBY. • By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, Last Night. The Hawke’s Bay Rugby representative team defeated the visiting Manawatu representatives at Hastings this afternoon in ideal weather by 21 to 15. The home side’s score was made up by three converted and one uncoverted try and a penalty, while the visitors scored five tries. The game was fast and open, both sides throwing the ball about.
