RAID BY SYDNEY POLICE. COINS FOUND; THREE ARRESTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, July 1. The police raided a Maltese farm at Blacktown and found a coining plant and about 1000 counterfeit shillings and florins buried on the farm. The police seized three revolvers and arrested three men.

During the search a constable was nearly poisoned by cyanide fumes, but a detective saved his life by knocking the bottle from his hands. The constable collapsed but later recovered.
