WAITOTARA SCHOOL AFFAIRS

RAILWAY TIME-TABLE ALTERED. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A full meeting of the Waitotara School Committee decided to send a letter of appreciation to Mr. H. G. Dickie, M.P., for his efforts in arranging for the alteration of the railway time-table from 6.20 a.m. to 7.5 a.m. for the convenience of scholars attending secondary schools at Wanganui, to take effect on June 5. Obtaining quotations for firewood was left to Messrs. Blackie and Hurley. The chairman and secretary were deputed to represent the committee at the forthcoming dental clinic meeting at Waverley. Mr. W. Simpson was thanked for auditing the accounts.
