Y.W.C.A. “JOY NIGHT"

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL EVENING. , Another of the series of successful “Joy Nights” organised by the New Plymouth branch of the Y.W.C.A. was held in the hall last night. The hall was packed. Community singing under the leadership of Mr. P. E. Staintoh and Mr. C. Blake was continued until 9.30 p.m., when the flor was cleared for dancing. Miss F. Broad was at the piano, and songs were sung by Messrs. B. Hirst and C. Blake, Miss B. Turnbull and Master Bullen. Music for the dancing was played by Miss G. Jones.
