LADIES’ CLUB MEETING.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

The annual meeting of the Rangers’ Hockey Club was held at New Plymouth on Tuesday night, when Mr. Foster presided over an attendance of 21. The officers for the year were elected as follows: Patron, The Mayor (Mr. E. R. C. Gilmour); president, Dr. P. C. Davie; vice-presidents, eight elected; club captain and coach, Mrs. Foster; committee, Mesdames Berry, Hill and Forman, Misses E. Harlow, Brough, and F. Chivers; delegate, Mr. Foster; secretary and treasurer, Miss M. Hall. • It was decided to send a team to the seven-a-side tournament at Hawera on June 3.

It was stated that a temporary ground would be available at the racecourse until the new ground was ready for play. The secretary was instructed to arrange matches with Inglewood, Tariki, .Waitara and Opunake. y "A
