DEATH OF A YOUNG WOMAN
CHARGE AGAINST MAN AND WIFE. BAIL REFUSED BY MAGISTRATE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 2. Robert William Campbell and his wife, Mary Campbell, aged 39, were charged in the Police Court yesterday with unlawfully using an instrument upon a young woman. They were remanded and bail for the woman accused was fixed at £5OO. When bail for the man was sought today the police said that the girl cerned died about a week ago in Taumarunui.
