SEVERE INJURIES TO SKULL
DEATH OF ELDERLY MAN RESULTS. KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR-LORRY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, May 2. Maurice Cronin, an elderly man, died in hospital last evening as the result of severe injuries to the skull received when he was knocked down by a skidding motor-lorry in Willis Street, near the Hotel St. George.
