SUPPLY BY THE GOVERNMENT. PUPILS MAY BE KEPT AWAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, May 2. Drastic action to induce the Government to provide firing for the school was suggested at the annual meeting of householders of the New Brighton District High School. It was decided that the incoming committee be recommended not to spend money on firing and when' the present firing was used to request parents to keep the children away from school until such time as the Government sent firing to the school.
