INTER-CLUB CROQUET GAME. In a friendly match against Avon at Stratford on Friday the Inglewood croquet team were defeated by 44 points. Following are the scores, Inglewood being mentioned first: Doubles, Mesdames Codd and Harris 25 lost to Mesdames Lampshire and Jenkin 26; Mesdames Ashton and Drake 25 lost to Mesdames Petrie and McCready 26; Mesdames Leslie and Bublitz 10 lost to Mesdames Wilson and Mcßae 26. Singles: Mrs. A. Codd 23 lost to Mrs. T-ampshire 26; Mrs. Harris 14 lost to Mrs. Jenkin 26; Mrs. Ashton 23 lost to Mrs. Petrie 26: Mrs. Drake 9 (unfinished) v. Mrs. McCready 13; Mrs. Leslie 10 lost to Mrs. Wilson 26; Mrs. Bublitz 26 defeated Mrs. Mcßae 14. Totals: Inglewood 165, Avon 209.
