SENTENCING OF PRISONERS. ASSAULT AND RECEIVING CASES. By Telegraph.—Press Association.Dunedin, Last Night. In the Supreme Court Frank Nobld Finlay, aged 28, found guilty of indecent assault on a female, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Kennedy to 18 months’ reformative detention. Reginald Merton Semb, aged 27, a married man with four children, for receiving stolen goods, was sentenced to a year’s hard labour, concurrent with a sentence being served for theft.
