NO FURTHER DECLINE SHOWN. A quiet butter market and steadier conditions for cheese are reported in the latest advices from England received by agents. The following reports were received in the week-end:— Anglo-Continental: The butter market is quiet at 81s to 83s. The cheese market is steady; white 48s, coloured 565. Collett and Co., Ltd.: Creamery butter (finest), 82s to 83s; creamery butter (first), 81s to 82s; whey butter, 77s to 78s; white cheese, 48s to 495; coloured cheese, 55s to 565. 1 Messrs. Samuel Page and Son (dated January 12): The butter market is steadier: Danish 114 s (112 s to 114 s); New Zealand finest salted, 81s to 83s (82s to 84s), Australian finest unsalted, 81s to 84s (86s to 88s); Australian finest salted, 81s to 82s (82s to 84s); Australian G.A.Q., 78s to 80s (80s to 81s). The cheese market is steadier. Australian white, 47s (48s to 495); Australian coloured, 55s (555); New Zealand white, 47s to 48s (495); New Zealand coloured, 56s to 57s (565); spot price for Canadian white, 60s to 68s (60s to 68s); spot price for Canadian coloured, 60s to 68s (60s to 68s). .
